In order to give the center of 's-Gravendeel more cohesion and make it more attractive, Stijlgroep has made a design for the redevelopment, in collaboration with the municipality of Binnenmaas and the advisory group that consisted of shopkeepers and local residents.
During three sessions with the advisory group, various possibilities for the design of the public space were discussed, until we agreed on a design unanimously.
With the design, we want to make a leap in quality by applying high-quality clinker paving, LED lighting, high-quality street furniture and new green facilities. A beautiful meeting place has been created between the church and the head of the creek with a multifunctional platform that has both a view of the church and the creek. In addition, the parking facilities have been optimized and embedded in greenery.
The works will start in mid-2018 and will be completed in mid-2019.
